Amy Winehouse
£700.00
Description
Breaking into the music business at 16, Amy Winehouse was destined to become something big. She began her journey as a jazz vocalist, eventually expanding her repertoire with an eclectic mix of jazz, pop, soul and R&B.
Her greatest acclaim came from the 2006 album ‘Back to Black’, which granted Amy five Grammy Awards and earned her world wide acclaim.
23rd July 2011 was the tragic day that Amy joined the ’27 Club’ with Hendrix, Morrison, Joplin and Cobain, all artists who have tragically passed away at age 27.
The print of Amy is in the pop-art style, reminiscent of Lichtenstein’s work in the 60’s, each individual dot clearly visible up close – only when moving away, you can see the full beauty of the piece.
Signed by the artist and printed in London on a Munken Kristal smooth 300gsm with a Graveux emboss, these limited edition prints are numbered to 50.
Framed in a black triple scalloped piano black moulding with a high bevelled 45 degree sided mount.
Shipping to the UK is free (International shipping to be calculated at basket).
